Investment app BOTS sponsors Coronel brothers again in Dakar Rally 2022

HAARLEM, January 4, 2022 - Investment app BOTS is sponsoring the Coronel Dakar team of Tim and Tom Coronel, who started the race in Dakar last Saturday, for the second year in a row.

For the 15th and 10th time respectively, brothers Tim and Tom Coronel are taking part in the Dakar Rally. After a 26th place last year, this year with a new car they expect to achieve a top 20 ranking in this iconic race for the first time. Their familiar rally car they called 'The Beast' has been traded in for a newer Century ‘Desert Lion 247’ after several years of service.

Forward-thinking partnership

"BOTS is innovative and progressive. That's how Tim and I always think and is also the reason we chose a new car. We want to constantly improve ourselves for the best possible results and take on the adventure. I recognize this in the attitude of BOTS and therefore I am very happy with this cooperation" said Tom Coronel.

He adds: "Tim and I have been using the BOTS app for over a year now and are very satisfied with the use and the great returns. We also have our own Tim and Tom bot in the app, which is of course very cool. It gives me a relaxed state of mind that I don't have to worry about the bots. During the Dakar Rally I just let the algorithms do the work. In addition, BOTS has big ambitions in Africa, which in turn fits in perfectly with the Dakar race."

Michiel Stokman, CEO at BOTS, concludes, "It feels good to sponsor the Coronel brothers for the second time. They always go to the limit and are not afraid of anything. This fits in nicely with the mentality of BOTS. With this attitude, we want to ensure that everyone worldwide has access to a second income through algorithmic trading."

The Dakar Rally will be run from January 1st 2022 to January 14nd 2022.
