The BOTS app reviews: Nico
“Flowers,” Nico says firmly, “I’ve worked in flowers for years. And with great pleasure, too.” The 56-year-old Nico has been living in Gouda with his girlfriend for three years. Before this, he used to live in Noord Holland. His two daughters have already left the nest.
Nico’s father had his flower bulb nursery. “And I worked there as well. That’s how it goes when your father owns a company.” By now, Nico has more than 40 years of work experience in sales. “Not just flowers, but that’s where most of my experience is.”
Nico even had a flower shop and a flower wholesale in Germany. He returned to the Netherlands because he missed his family. Still, this experience allowed him to work as an account manager for a prominent flower exporter for the German market.
“And so I have been on the road for almost 40 years with sales, trading and the flowers as well, of course.”
Unfortunately, Corona complicated things. Nico had just switched to another employer when the flower industry suddenly comes to a standstill, and his employer didn’t extend his contract. “That sucks, of course,” he explains, “but I’m an optimistic person by nature, so I’ll end up with my beloved flowers once again.”
Nico and the BOTS app
And that’s how Nico also looks at investing. “The market has always proven to rise. Just as optimistic as I am.”
It is with the same optimism that Nico got introduced to BOTS. “I was present at the first roadshow, where RevenYOU showed the BOTS app to the world. So I’ve been with BOTS for a while.”
The roadshow impressed Nico. “In any case, you make money with money. It’s just that simple. And because I liked the concept, I first bought several share certificates.” After the beta phase of the app, Nico also started investing via the BOTS app. “And I have already earned a few hundred euros by doing so.”
Nico is an enthusiastic user of the app. And although he certainly doesn’t check the BOTS app every day anymore, he still checks it quite regularly. “It’s nice to see how your bots are doing. Saving no longer yields anything, so I prefer to look at my return on the BOTS app.”
Meanwhile, Nico has already “dragged” several friends into the app. “We even have a WhatsApp group: BOTS Talk, in which we discuss our results. January wasn’t the best month, but we’re all sensible people who understand how prices can fluctuate.”
Nico’s tip for his friends? Follow everything that comes along on YouTube, read blogs, watch podcasts, follow Business Class, and then just start a bot, sit back and watch the bots do the work.
Nico’s BOTS goals
Because Nico is both a BOTS certificate holder and a user, he has two ways to profit. “Ultimately, I want to save money. It’s that simple. Because I worked in Germany for a while, I now have a pension gap in the Netherlands. It would be nice if my returns could fill this gap. Call it a retirement patch.”
When Nico retires, he will have worked for about 50 years. “And then I just want to be able to do fun things. I now live near the Reeuwijkse Plassen, and 2.5 years ago, we bought a sloop. I just want to keep doing things like that. Right after my retirement.”
Nico’s girlfriend is half Spanish. “We now visit family in Spain once a year, but after my retirement, that frequency can be increased,” Nico laughs. “And it would be great if I could take my future grandchildren with me. Let that retirement begin!”
There is no such thing as risk-free trading. It is possible to lose (part of) your stake.
