BOTS named Young Business Award 2022 Winner

Amsterdam, 12 June 2022 - After an exciting final, BOTS is named Young Business Award (YBA) 2022 winner. In the final, co-founder and CEO Michiel Stokman defeated Peter Paul de Leeuw (Amberscript), Gijs Bekenkamp (Chordify) and Raymon Pouwels (GO Sharing). With this award, Stokman has won not only the prestigious title of the best young company in the Netherlands 2022 but also 1 million euros of investment money for BOTS.

"After four years of hard work, this award feels like a well-deserved reward for the entire BOTS team. Growing a company quickly and successfully always comes with ups and downs. I am therefore very proud of what we have all achieved and that the jury of YBA sees it the same way. We are on track to reach a unicorn status and with the investment money we can further develop our platform to get closer to our ultimate goal of giving everyone worldwide the chance to have a second income," said Michiel Stokman, CEO at BOTS.

An exciting finale

Stokman won the award after a very exciting final, shown at both RTLZ and Videoland. In the end, he was best able to convince the jury with his answers, including explaining why the whole world is ready to start or continue trading. "One of the reasons why our elderly are doing well financially is because they invested that money through pension funds. That has created prosperity. I want to roll out this story around the world," Stokman concludes.
