Why hasn't my strategy made a trade in X days?

The trading activity of your chosen strategy depends on a number of factors. For example, he can hold your investment while waiting for the right time to enter the market. It analyzes past market data to initiate trades, and these holding periods are typically short. This approach helps maximize potential returns and minimize risks.

How long do these retention periods usually last?
The length of holding periods may vary depending on market conditions, volatility and the specific strategy used. Although it is difficult to give an exact time frame, these retention periods are usually relatively short. The strategy is designed to act quickly and seize trading opportunities as they arise.

How can I see what my strategy is doing?

It is very easy to keep track of developments in the app. In the blue home screen at the top you can see the results of your entire portfolio per day, week, month or year via the live graphs. If you run your finger over the graph line you can even keep track of this per minute.

If you want to view this per strategy, select the strategy by clicking on the name of the strategy. You then see the development of only that strategy.

You also have the choice to show the results in your balance, profit and loss or return.

Can the strategies also go short?

Yes, some strategies can certainly go short as well. They are in the All Weather category. These are designed in such a way that they adapt to the market. When the market is bullish, All-Weather strategies use a long strategy, purchasing assets with the expectation that their value will increase over time. Conversely, when the market is bearish, they use a short strategy. They first sell assets and later buy them back at a lower price, taking advantage of the price drop.

What are Short Strategies?
Short strategies are automated trading algorithms designed to take advantage of price drops in various financial markets, such as the cryptocurrency market. These strategies come equipped with the ability to take short positions, which allows them to take advantage of falling prices by selling an asset they do not currently own with the intention of buying it back at a lower price.

How is it possible that my graph is different from someone else's graph?

If you invest once in a strategy, your investment will have exactly the same graph as the strategy in the app. A difference may arise if you make multiple deposits at different times, or if you make a partial withdrawal. The graph in the app assumes that you only invest once, at the beginning of a time interval. If you make changes (through deposits or withdrawals) you will get a different graph.

Can I always start a strategy?

You can usually start a strategy unless it has reached its maximum capacity or market capitalization. The algorithm developer can place limits on the number of users or volume that the strategy can efficiently handle.

What does it mean if I receive the message 'Strategy is full'?
When you see the 'Strategy is full' message, it means that the strategy you are trying to use has reached its market capitalization or maximum capacity. This usually happens when the strategy processes a significant number of transactions or user requests. The market capitalization indicates the maximum number of funds or users that the strategy can effectively accommodate.

What happens when a strategy reaches its market capitalization?
When a strategy reaches its market cap, it means it has reached its maximum capacity to handle additional users or funds. So you can only use the strategy again when space becomes available.

What happens if I stop my strategy?
When you stop your strategy, it starts the process of selling your investments at the best available price. The money from these sales is transferred to the base currency, which is equal to the US dollar.

Yes, you can stop a strategy at any time.

What happens if I stop my strategy?
When you stop your strategy, it starts the process of selling your investments at the best available price. This process can take up to 1 hour. The value of the strategy can still change during this hour. The money from these sales is transferred to the base currency, which is equal to the US dollar.

How do I stop a strategy and what happens to my money?

You can stop a strategy as follows:

In the app you can immediately see all your active strategies listed below each other.
Go to the strategy you want to stop and then click on 'Manage investment'. There you will find the option 'Stop this bot'.
If you click on this, the strategy will stop and the funds will be added to your available funds. This usually happens within a few minutes but can take up to 2 working days in some cases.

From there you can put this money into another strategy or have it deposited back into your own account.

The transfer of the funds to your own account usually takes 2-5 working days.

Our advice is to always maintain a good variation in your portfolio and to invest monthly in order to get the best results in the longer term.

What is a strategy?

A strategy is designed by a creator or team of creators. They develop trading algorithms that can be used to carry out transactions on the financial markets. They operate based on predefined trading strategies, rules and indicators, with the aim of generating profits by taking advantage of market opportunities.
Each strategy works according to its own specifications, which you can find in the app for the relevant strategy.

Adjust currency display

Log in to the app and go to the icon at the top right of your screen. If you scroll down you will see 'Desired currency'. Here you can choose from several currencies.

Can I change the displayed currency multiple times?

Yes, you can change the currency displayed as often as you like.

Will changing the currency displayed affect my investments or portfolio?

No, changing the currency displayed will not affect your investments or portfolio. It only changes the currency in which the values are displayed in the app.

My account has been blocked

Very annoying if your account is blocked. This could have been done for a number of reasons:

Age verification: Your account has been blocked because you are a minor and opened an account contrary to the legal age requirement.

Solution: If you are not yet of legal age in your country, your account will be deactivated and your money will be refunded to your verified bank account.

Identity Verification: Your account has been blocked due to difficulty verifying your identity from the documents and selfies provided.

Solution: Open the BOTS app and navigate to the menu (you can access the menu by pressing the "Person icon" in the top right corner of the app). At the top of the screen you will see a notification called "Urgent Action Required".

Continue by clicking the arrow next to "Upload your selfie" or "Upload your ID." On the next screen you will find details that explain the purpose behind verifying your identity.

To start the process, click the "Let's get started" button and follow the instructions in the app. When taking a photo of your ID, make sure it is clear, legible and covers at least 80% of the frame. When taking a selfie, look straight into the camera, make sure your facial features are clearly visible and that your face takes up at least 80% of the frame.

Important note: If you're having trouble uploading your ID or selfie in the BOTS app, there are some steps you can take to resolve this issue. First try logging out and back in to the app by uninstalling and reinstalling it from the official App Store or Play Store.

If this does not resolve the issue, please report the issue to our customer service team by contacting us at support@bots.io.

Bank account holder name mismatch: You used a bank account or provided bank account details in the name of another person or entity.

Solution: Our legal team will contact you for this.

Inaccessible service in your country: You are using the BOTS platform from a country where our services are not currently available.

Solution: In accordance with our terms and conditions, we reserve the right to terminate the customer agreement. Your account will be deactivated and your money will be refunded to your bank account.

Close/delete account

Sorry to hear that you want to delete your account. To do this properly, it is useful to follow the following steps:

1. Stop all active strategies

> Click on the active strategy

> Manage investment

> Stop this Bot

2. Repeat for all active strategies

3. All funds end up in your available fund

4. Transfer this money to your own bank account

> Click on Details in the blue screen at the top

Can I use the app if I am not yet of legal age in the relevant country?

Unfortunately this is not possible. Not even with parental permission. The name of the account holder must match the bank card used when withdrawing or depositing money within the app.

What happens if a minor registers an account on BOTS?

BOTS has a dedicated compliance team that carries out regular checks every day. If it turns out that a minor has registered an account, it will be immediately blocked and deactivated. This is done to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to maintain the security of the platform.

What happens to money deposited by an underage user?

If an underage user has deposited funds into their BOTS account, those funds will be refunded to the user's registered IBAN. If the user does not have a registered IBAN, he must provide BOTS with a bank statement confirming his name to the bank account, as well as a copy of his ID. BOTS will then refund the amount to that bank account.

Can a user reactivate their account once they reach legal age?

Yes, once a user reaches the legal age in their country, they can reactivate their BOTS account. To do this, they must provide their personal details to BOTS and go through the KYC (Know Your Customer) procedure, which may require submitting identification documents.

Change/add payment method

If you want to change your bank account number, you can send an email to support@bots.io. Send a copy of the bank statement of both the old and the new on which account number and name are visible, together with a copy of ID. We will then have implemented the change within 24 hours.

I can not log in

When registering with your access code, you may have to enter your mobile number. You will then receive a code with which you can log in. If this does not work, you can click on 'Switch account' at the top left of the app. You will then have the opportunity to enter your mobile number.                                                                                                         

If the previous steps did not solve the problem, delete the BOTS app from your mobile and reinstall it.

If your phone number is correct but you don't receive the SMS code, try the following steps:

- Close the BOTS app.

- Wait a period of 1-2 hours.

- Try requesting a code again.

Normally you should receive the code within 2-3 minutes, the code will expire after 5 minutes. If none of the above steps work, send an email to support@bots.io.

If you get a specific error message when you try to log in, take a screenshot. (e.g. API_REGISTERING_PHONE error message when inserting phone number) and send an email to support@bots.io.

When creating an account, you will be asked to provide proof of identity for verification. Which one that is depends on your location. The system will automatically ask for the desired document. This could be one of the following:

Is there an age requirement to create a BOTS account?

Yes, partly. The minimum withdrawal amount is € 1 but there is no limit, except for the balance in your portfolio.

How long does it take before the withdrawn money reaches my bank account?
Transferring money to your bank account may take 2-5 business days depending on your bank or financial institution.

What should I do if the transaction takes longer than 5 working days?
If your withdrawal takes longer than 5 working days, please contact our customer service at support@bots.io on working days from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Please indicate in your email that you have not yet received your withdrawal and state that 5 business days have passed. In addition, please provide us with the last 4 digits of your verified IBAN so that we can further investigate the problem for you.

Can I leave my money in my available funds instead of withdrawing it?

How often do fluctuations occur?
Fluctuations in the value of USDT can occur every minute or even within seconds as it is influenced by market dynamics and demand. The exact frequency and magnitude of fluctuations depend on several factors, including market conditions and trading activity.

Will my overall stablecoin balance change due to fluctuations?

How can I make a successful deposit and start a strategy?

There are two ways to start a strategy.

First deposit money into your profile. This then ends up in the portfolio and from there you can choose which strategy you want to start. You can then start this from your available funds. Useful if you want to start multiple strategies.

Start one strategy by clicking on the blue 'Start investing' button. You can then invest money in this strategy from your banking environment.

What does a risk level of 1 to 3 mean?

What does a risk level of 4 to 6 mean?
