A trading signal is a notification or instruction to buy or sell a security (or a cryptocurrency). It is generated by mathematical models or human analysts that react to market activity and utilize technical indicators. Signals must always tick predetermined criteria to get triggered. They are used to make trading decisions in the hope of achieving profitability.
